The lid
A screw cap that closes tight so it can ride in a bag. After a boil, give it about two minutes before you open it.
The steeping chamber
Clear, so you can watch it brew. A perforated filter floor holds loose leaf above the water — or use a bag. It unscrews from the body.
The heated body
Double-wall stainless with the touch panel and display at the base. Plug it in to heat; unplugged, it stays hot for 12+ hours.

The perforated filter floor holds whole leaf — no pods, no paper to keep re-buying. Rinse it and fill it again.
Turn it over.
The water heats in the base and the leaf waits in the chamber. Turn it over and the water runs through the leaf. Turn it back upright and the brewed tea drains down into the bottle.

How it works, in depth
Setting up
Unbox the bottle, the detachable cord and the manual. On first use, boil once with a little loose leaf to clear the new smell. It must be plugged in to heat — once hot, the cord comes off.
The controls
Two touch pads either side of the display: one adjusts the temperature, the other confirms or cancels. Tap to move 1 °C; press and hold to move 5 at a time. The display and the setting are in Celsius, 40–100 °C.
The indicator light
Red: standby. Blue: heating. Blue “breathing” with a beep: it has reached temperature.
Brewing
Water heats in the body; the leaf sits in the chamber on the perforated filter floor. Turn the bottle over so the water runs through the leaf, then turn it back so the tea drains down. Loose leaf or a bag both work.
Power
120 V / 60 Hz with the detachable cord included. It heats only when plugged in. A small internal battery runs the display when unplugged and recharges on the next boil.
Cleaning
Rinse the chamber after each brew. To descale, white vinegar for about 15 minutes, then rinse. Never submerge the body in water.
Care
After a boil, wait about two minutes before opening the lid. Unplugged, press and hold the button for 3 seconds to see the water temperature.

Can I mix colours on a wholesale order?
Yes, at no extra cost. Write the split in plain words — “20 mint, 20 pearl, 10 apricot” is perfect.
Does the display show Fahrenheit?
No. The BOTA is set and displayed in Celsius, 40–100 °C. The guide printed on the back of the bottle gives the Fahrenheit for each setting, and so does this page.
Is it cordless?
No. It plugs in to heat — any outlet at home, the office or a hotel. Once it’s hot you can unplug it and it stays hot for 12+ hours.
What if it’s not right?
If a unit arrives dead or defective, tell me within 7 days and I replace it. Change of mind isn’t a return.
Will you source something that isn’t on the page?
Often, not always. Tell me the category and the quantity and I’ll tell you straight whether I can get it, and roughly when.
